On proud 3250m is the mountain station of the modernst bicable ropeway in the world - pists as far you can see and dreamlike panorama from the Zillertaler Alpen to the Dolomiten.
The powder snow is guaranteed from october to may and up to 12km long and machine snowed pists are making the Hintertuxer Gletscher to one of the best all-season skiing area in the alps.
An especially attraction is the "Gletscherrunde"! With 72 km pists and 15.000 altitude difference, it promise fantastic heights and unbeatable views with no latencies.
Hardly no other summer skiing area offers also for profis in the warm season a lot of challenging pists like the Hintertuxer Gletscher. 18km and up to 10 lifts are opend in the only all-season skiing area.
The snowboard scene meets them in the highest world cup halfpipe in europe - the Better-park Hintertux.
